Mission of Solar Power Plants

This is the main mission of our investment. We, Thai Future Energy Group, producing the electricity from the solar energy and eco-friendly alternative energy, aim to create and reduce the risks as much as we can to those interested in the energy business. We have studied about the risks whereas such risks that might be possibly caused will be eliminated by our experienced experts. We have always satisfied the policies of the government in terms of the energy stability enhancement with the significant emphasis on the safety in all dimensions i.e. finance, investment, resources management, maintenance of stability and environment in the communities where our power plants are located. In addition, we have supported our alliance and customers on the production of clean energy and provided the worthwhile and sustainable returns for our investors.

Mission of Solar Power Plants of Thai Future Energy Group The energy consumption is very important to the growth of the country’s public utilities. Currently, the consumption of electrical energy in Thailand is about 179,000 units per year. Most of the electricity has been domestically produced using the natural gas as the main fuel in the electricity production process with the proportion of 70% of the total electricity production. However, since the natural gas is recognized as the non-renewable fuel, the Ministry of Energy has adjusted its master plans by using much energy produced from the alternative energy in order to reduce not only the dependence on the imported fossil-based energy but also the global warming.

At present, the Ministry of Energy has realized the possibility of using the clean and safe alternative energy. One of the potential alternative energy sources in Thailand is actually the solar energy produced from the solar cells.

This kind of energy has been promoted to be used to substitute the traditional electricity production. Obviously, the solar cell is the electronics invention invented to convert the tremendous solar power around the world into the electrical power. The semi-conductor like silicon that is both inexpensive and enormous will be scientifically processed to be the thin and pure panels. When the sunlight exposes such panels containing the energy particles (i.e. photon), the energy will flow to the electrons in the semi-conductor. When the energy is sufficient, it will be separated from the gravity of the atoms and will independently move when the electrons completely move resulting finally in the direct current. As the maximum electricity production can be found during the daytime, the solar cells can be used in the electricity production to solve the insufficiency of electrical power.

The government has supported Thai Future Energy Group for the electricity production using the solar cells as follows:

Outstanding Features of Electricity Produced from Solar Power:

There is no noise pollution because there is no movement of the machinery parts in the electricity production.

The advanced technology results in the production of solar cell panels having the higher kW power with less installation area.

The electricity can be produced even in the shady or cloudy conditions.

By these reasons, Thai Future Energy Group has constructed the solar power plants with the PV grid connected system. The system is specially designed for producing the electricity through the equipment converting the direct current into the alternative current. Then, the produced electricity will be directly supplied to the power system of the Provincial Electricity Authority for the distribution.

Operation of the officers at “Chon Buri” Solar Power Plant covering the area of over 300 Rais with the investment of over 2,700 million baht.

There are normally ten officers on duty for the operation, maintenance, and security. The operation unit will be responsible for controlling the operation of the power plant. All equipment will be first inspected whether they are ready for the operation through the monitoring system while the system failure will be immediately solved.

After the sunrise, the system will be automatically operated. The sunlight converted into the electrical energy will flow to the power system of the Provincial Electricity Authority. Then, the production system will be monitored until the sunset. When there is an error to the equipment, the position will be detected by the system with the prompt warning so that the officers can inspect the deficit solar cell panels. For other maintenance, only the normal cleaning is required for the solar cell panels using the clean water with proper pH balance. The tap water installed around the area and the pressure washers should be simply used for cleaning the solar cell panels at least once a month.



For the future plans, we will continue the development and researches on various kinds of energy to be used as the guideline for the country’s development so that Thailand can achieve the true sustainability.
